2012 Dinner (Friday 14 September 2012)

For those who may be in Oxford on the Friday night (14 September), we are planning a small dinner at the Perch, Binsey; our Jenkin lecturer Frank Chapman will be our guest. This riverside pub at Port Meadow (which many of you will remember) can seat up to about 40 people in a private dining room, and there is plenty of room to park.

Cost will be £32 per head for a three-course meal, excluding drinks (which can be bought at the time). We are meeting at 7.00pm; dress informal, and guests are of course very welcome.

The menu choices are as follows:

Starters
Soup of the day; or
Chicken liver parfait; or
Confit tomato with smoked goats cheese
Mains
Sea bass; or
Breast of Barbary duck; or
Vegan polenta
Desserts
Crème Brulée; or
Profiteroles; or
Berry Trifle; or
Cheese-board
