March 2006: Jenking Meeting flyer

The 2006 Jenkin Meeting will be on 22/23 September. The Jenkin lecture itself will be given on Saturday September 23rd by Professor RA Smith (St John's 1967-70). The title will be "Railways: the technical challenges of their renaissance". Please note the date in your diaries now.
Roderick Smith has had an academic career at the Universities of Cambridge and Sheffield, and is now Head of the Department of Mechanical and Process Engineering at Imperial College. His main research field has been in metal fatigue, and he has also been much involved with organisations carrying out research and development for the railway industry.
