2001 Annual Meeting (Friday 14 September 2001)
The afternoon started with a welcome from Professor Rodney Eatock Taylor, the Head of Department, and continued with the following lectures:
- Dr Amy Zavatsky : Biomechanics of the Musculoskeletal System
- Dr Nick Petrinic : Recent Developments in Impact Engineering
After a break for tea, the Society's AGM (including the Head of Department's annual report) was held, followed by:
- The Fourteenth Jenkin Lecture
Professor Carlos Ruiz : The Engineering Don
The day concluded with the annual SOUE dinner, which was held in Wolfson College.
